Free Defibrillator Training

The Workers Memorial Foundation are providing defibrillator training courses free of charge You don’t need any previous first aid training to apply

An AED (Automatic External Defibrillator) can be used by anyone without any formal training. But this doesn’t mean training isn’t required. On an AED training course you learn so much more and go away with the knowledge you could confidently deploy an AED in an emergency situation

The first course was held at Chain Lane Community Centre attended by ten candidates

The candidates at the Derbyshire Hill Community Centre

Our second course was for 12 people was held at Derbyshire Hill Community Centre

At the end of the 4 hour session they went away with a

TQUK Level 2 Award in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Automated External Defibrillation (RQF)

The training (worth £150 pp) is free of charge for an individual willing to learn

Corporate training sessions are available on request, with different terms and conditions
