Theft and Vandalism

January 2023

The defibrillator storage cabinet at the Workers Memorial in Vera Page Park has been targeted by thieves

The cabinet was the unlocked type and at the time the defibrillator wasn’t stored in it due to technical issues, just as well.

The thieves ripped all the wires from the cabinet using wire cutters leaving the cabinet beyond repair and needing to be replaced with a new one.

We are not a wealthy charity and having to replace the cabinet, is a major setback for us.

The trustees apart from making personal generous donations are regularly many tens of pounds out of pocket supporting the administration and activities of the charity.

We need your help to get over this theft.

If you can spare a few pounds it would be greatly appreciated

This is a public access defibrillator and we need to keep the defibrillator on standby and ready for use 24/7.

Unfortunately this costs money

If you can afford to help us please do. We have opened a GoFundMe page
